A Story Worth Telling

For years I watched Florida gardeners do the same painful thing over and over. They'd walk into a big box nursery in March, load up the cart with pretty plants that looked healthy under the shade cloth, get them home, and watch half of them melt in the first real summer. Tomatoes bolting in May. Blueberries that wanted acidic soil planted in sugar sand. Kale in July.

Then I'd open YouTube comments and answer the same five questions fifty times a week. Good questions, honest people, all of them trying their best. They didn't need another generic tip. They needed a plan built for Florida, by somebody actually gardening in Florida.

So I started writing. Not fancy. Not padded. Just the stuff I wish somebody had handed me in my first Florida summer. If these ebooks save you one dead plant or one wasted weekend, they already paid for themselves. That's the whole mission.

I've also written three paperback books that go a little deeper, Grow Food NOT Lawns, The Florida Perennial Garden, and Discipline, for the folks who want the full story. The ebooks are different on purpose. They're built for people who want specific help on one thing, fast, without reading a whole book to get to the part that matters to them. Both have their place, and I understand exactly where you are.
